Add 1Tbls. filling. Fold together and pinch edges together. Boil 2 qts. water. Add 1 Tbls. salt. Drio pierogi in boiling water. Cook for 15 min. Drain off water. If desired, fry in butter until brown. These may be frozen. Mrs. Walter Jasinski Saginaw, Mich. My great Aunt used to make these and they were terriffic. She also used mashed potatoes mixed with cheese for filling. But she always fried them after boiling. And serve them with a dollop of sour cream. Does anyone know where to get dry cottage cheese???
