Assemble the Dry Goods and Wet Works- whisking the eggs with melted butter before mixing in remainder of the Wet Works.
Set the batter aside and rest for 5 minutes (or refrigerate it for up to an hour.)
Use the disher to lade 2 full scoops of batter onto the waffle iron and spread the batter lightly with the back of the disher.
Close the waffle iton top and bake until the waffle is golden and crisp on both sides and can be easily removed from the iron 5 to 6 minutes.
Repeat until you've used up the batter.
Serve immediately with Rum Sauce or keep warm in a 200 degree F oven.
