In a saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Add pineapple and cook stirring constantly until thick & clear.
Cool and spread in bottom of pie shell.
In a bowl combine softened cream cheese and sugar. Mix until well blended. Add eggs and beat well, Blend in milk and vanilla.
Pour into pie shell over pineapple
Sprinkle with cinnamon & nuts
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Cook for 10 minutes then reduce heat to 350 for 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven place on cooling rack.
