Something a bit different for breakfast or brunch!
Whisk together flour, sugar and baking powder. Add crushed pineapple and milk. Stir until everything is incorporated together. Drop 1/4 cup dough into hot oil and flatten with a spatula. Brown on both sides. Remove to a plate with paper towels to drain.
Serve with syrup and powdered sugar. Makes 10 to 12 fritters.
If the batter is too thin, add flour. If the batter is too thick, add milk.
