Heat oven to 350 degrees
Sprinkle cornmeal onto milk, let sit 30 mins
Put 10" cast iron skillet over medium heat
Add butter to skillet and brush up sides
As butter starts to brown add brown sugar
Turn off heat and lay pineapple rings in pan
Add cherry to each hole
Sprinkle in pecans
Drizzle pineapple syrup over pecans
Let pan cool
Mix flour baking powder n salt in bowl
In separate bowl whisk eggs sugar n oil
Add cornmeal/milk mixture to wet stuff
Add wet stuff to dry stuff -do not over mix-
Pour batter over fruit in pan
Bake 40-45mins
Cool at least 30mins before turning
