1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
2. On a large baking sheet, pinch the 8 crescent roll dough triangles into 4 rectangles. Spread a very light coating of pizza sauce on the dough then spread the pepperoni/cheese mixture on top of the sauce. Layer each rectangle with 6 slices of pepperoni and even amounts of cheese and spices. Roll tightly lengthwise. Pop them in the freezer for 20 minutes then slice each rectangle into 4 pieces with a very sharp knife. Bake them on their sizes on sheets coated with a little cooking spray and ooze is minimal.
3. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 12 minutes. Serve with pizza sauce for dipping.
Also fantastic using thinly sliced ham and cheese with a honey mustard dipping sauce, or taco meat and cheese!
