Suggest a better descriptionCombine all of the ingredients in a large stainless steel pot. Adjust the burner to low and partially cover the pan. Simmer gently for 1 hour, stirring frequently, until the mixture is brickred and thickened.
Ladle into half-pint or pint jars, leaving 1 inch of head space. Wipe rims with vinegar. Place lids on jars.
Process in a pressure canner at 10 pounds of pressure for 70 minutes for pints or 60 minutes for half-pints.
Use as is or add 1 tbsp olive oil and some grated cheese.
