Suggest a better descriptionWash ribs really well with cold tap water to remove old blood and juice from packaging. Put 4 or 5 slabs in a large disposable aluminum roasting pan. Sprinkle with garlic and/or onion powder( roasting meat all by itself does not smell that good). Cover the ribs tightly with aluminum foil. Bake in 350(F) degree oven for at least 2 hours.
In the mean time mix and heat the sauce ingredients in a large sauce pan on low heat. You want enough sauce to cover the ribs but not drown them. After 2 hours of roasting, remove ribs from oven, uncover a corner of the aluminum foil from the roasting pan and drain all the liquid from the ribs( there may be several cups of juice, so have a big waste can ready). Remove the aluminum foil and pour the heated sauce on the ribs. Return the ribs, uncovered, to the oven still at 350(F) degrees. For the next 3 hours, continue to bake the ribs. Every 15 minutes or so, flip the ribs and cover with sauce from the bottom of the roasting pan. The ribs will start to fall apart. That means that they are cooked but allow the sauce to brown and caramelize on top the ribs. Serve ribs. Now comes the best part. Throw away the totally trashed aluminum roasting pan and aluminum foil.
