Boil chicken, pull into bite size pieces. Grease or spray 9 x 13 casserole, put chicken on bottom.
Mix together sour cream and soup (may put dried onion and/or salt in soup). Pour over chicken.
Put crushed crackers over top. Put almonds on top of that. (Can omit almonds)
Shake on enough poppy seed until it looks right. Pour melted butter over casserole.
Bake about 20-30 min. at 350? or until bubbly.
