A hot sauce for grilled chicken.
This is an old family recipe for spicy bbq sauce for grilled chicken. My Grandfather 'Pop', from Durham, North Carolina would always make this to go with his grilled chicken. It is a spicy, vinegar based sauce.
Rule # 1... Never let it boil ! If it does you have to throw it out.
Slowly melt butter and add red pepper first then all other ingredients. Slowly heat it through for at least an hour or more. Make sure to stir it good right before you put it the chicken because the spices will be at the bottom and the melted butter will be on top. It's very spicy and if it makes your eyeballs sweat, you did it right.
"Git ya some, cuz it's good!"
