You can use a bag of dried bean in this instead of the canned beans. Make sure you soak them overnight. Then drain and rinse. I have used pinto beans in this instead of the black. It was great!!
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Right before serving shred pork with tongs and remove bone. Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve.
You can top this with sour cream, cheese, chives and a dash of hot sauce if you are feeling spicy!!
