1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Put the uncooked rice in the bottom of a casserole dish.
3. Cover the rice with the French Onion soup. Save the can.
4. Brown the chops in a large skillet and set aside.
5. Deglaze the pan with one can of water. Pour into the casserole dish.
6. Place chops in a single layer on top of the rice mix.
7. Bake uncovered for 1/2 hour.
8. Cover with foil and bake additional 1/2 hour.
