Bring home the taste of St. Lucia with this tasty banana ketchup marinade! Could be used on a variety of different meat or poultry but goes perfect with pork. This is a simple little recipe that takes little preparation but is packed with a sweet, unusual flavour. Great for BBQs!
Simply mix a large dollop of banana ketchup with a dash of worchestershire sauce, spoonful of mustard and some tomato purée and mix.
Place the pork chops onto a dish and marinade the chops before covering and leaving in the fridge.
When ready to cook simply stick them on the BBQ or under a preheated grill. Cook well till the marinade starts to burn slightly given that sticky, BBQ taste.
Then simply serve up!
Pork in a Banana Ketchup Marinade goes well with chips, wedges or even a jacket patato. It would probably go well with rice and a big serving of salad
