Put onions in a crock pot.
Place on meat.
Pour ½ cup of barbecue sauce on meat turning over to cover both sides.
Cover and cook on low for 9 hours.
Remove onions and meat. Shred meat with fork.
Place back into crock pot and stir in the remaining barbecue.
Cook another ½ hour.
