Suggest a better description1. In a large pot, cook bacon until crispy.
2. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside. Remove some of the bacon grease if desired, but not all.
3. Cook onion garlic and melt butter with the bacon grease.
4. Add flour and cook until slightly golden brown.
5. Add broth and potatoes. Cook until potatoes are fork tender.
6. Add bacon and corn. Cook for about 10 minutes.
7. Add heavy cream salt and pepper. Cook for about another 5-10 minutes
8. Just before serving, stir in cheddar cheese.
Notes:
Really good using a ham broth in place of chicken broth.
