Bake potatoes for 1 1/2 hours until soft, cool, then spoon out flesh into a bowl
Meanwhile fry the onions slowly in the oil for 45 mins until golden
Reduce temperature down to 180*C
Grease and line an 8 inch loose based cake tin
Gently mix the egg, creme fraiche and potatoes together
Season well with salt, pepper and a good grating of nutmeg
Tip into the tin and bake for 45 mins or until golden brown
Leave to rest for a few minutes before turning out
