2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl.
3. Cream the sugars and butter in another bowl until mixture is light and fluffy.
4. Add vanilla and eggs. Beat together.
5. Add the dry ingredients to the sugar mixture ½ c. at a time by hand, not a mixer.
6. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
7. Drop by spoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet.
8. Bake until pale golden brown, about 10 minutes.
