Tasty personal pizza recipe; fun to make with the kids. Source: 2010 Milk Calendar
Place a large baking sheet upside down on middle rack of over and preheat oven to 425 degrees. Butter 1 or 2 more large baking sheets.
Crust: In a large bowl, combine all-purpose and whole wheat flours, baking powder and salt. Pour in milk and butter, stir with a fork until soft dough forms. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead a couple of times until smooth. Divide into 6 even pieces. Roll or pat 3 pieces into 6-inch circles and place on prepared (unheated) baking sheet.
Topping: Spread pizza sauce on each crust, leaving 1/2 inch border. Sprinkle with ham and vegetables as desired, and cheese.
To bake: Slide this baking sheet on top of the hot baking sheet in the over and bake for 12 - 15 minutes or until crust is golden, toppings are hot and cheese is bubbling. Meanwhile prepare remaining 3 crusts for the oven.
Cooking tip: Preheating a baking sheet helps to make a crispy pizza crust. Use a pizza stone instead if you have one. If you have a perforated pizza pan, you do not need to use the hot baking sheet.
