They are good
Dissolve yeast in warm water in a bowl, stirring til the yeast looks soft. Add the 1 tsp regular salt, sugar and flour (may need to add more flour). Mix ings til a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured board. Take a golf ball size piece of dough and roll it into a strip 15 inches long. Make a loop by twisting the ends together. Bring the ends up and over and press them against the sides of the loop. Place the pretzels on a greased cookie sheet and brush them with the beaten egg. Sprinkle salt over pretzels. Bake at 425 F for 12-15 minutes.
