Suggest a better descriptionMix together 1-step angel food cake mix following the directions on the box. Mix remaining ingredients together and gradually fold into the cake mixture 1/4 cup at a time using a spoon or a wire whisk. Do not use a mixture for this step.
Pour into an angel food cake pan. Run a knife through the batter to remove any large bubbles. Bake according to the cake mix directions. Let cool one hour.
Run a knife around the edge of the pan, invert on a cake plate and remove from pan. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if you wish and serve.
