In a large bowl combine shortening, brown sugar, flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, vanilla, pumpkin and eggs. Mix until smooth. Spread evenly in pan and bake. Frost with cream cheese frosting when cooled.
