Perfect for a cool Fall day
Source: America's Test Kitchen
1) Heat oven to 350 degrees
2) Grease 2 loaf pans
3) Whisk flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl
4) Combine pumpkin and spices in a large sauce pan over medium heat. Cook, stirring constantly for 6-8 minutes
5) Remove from heat. Stir in sugar, brown sugar, oil, and cream cheese until combined and no pieces of cream cheese are seen
6) Let stand 5 minutes
7) Whisk together eggs and buttermilk. Add to pumpkin mixture and whisk to combine
8) Fold in flour until combined (lumps are ok)
9) Scrape into loaf pans
10) Bake for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick/knife comes out clean
11) Cool in pan for 20 minutes
12) Remove from pan and cool for 1 1/2 hours
