In large mixing bowl, beat sugar and oil on medium speed
Add eggs and beat well
In second large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg
Alternatively add flour mixture and water to sugar mixture, beating on low speed after each addition until combined
Beat in pumpkin
Spoon batter in prepared pans
Bake at 350 for 55-65 minutes until toothpick comes out clean
Cool in pans for 10 minutes
Remove from pans and cool completely before serving
