Press into bottom of 8 or 9" spring form pan
Beat cream cheese, 3/4 c sugar until well blended. Beat in pumpkin and spices. Add egg 1 at a time beating well after each.
Pour into prepared crust
Bake at 350 deg 50 min.
Remove cake and raise temp to 400 degrees.
Mix well sour cream, remaining 1/4 c sugar and vanilla
Spread over filling and Bake 8 mins. Cool cake, remove sides and chill
Garnish with almonds and whipped cream
