sift first seven ingredients together and set aside.
Cream 1cup sugar with 2eggs and 1/2 cup butter(room temp) and beat in 1tsp vanilla and add 3/4cup pumpkin puree slowly into flour mixture. Fold in. 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips and 1 cup of nuts(if desired). Fill muffin cups and bake 18-20minutes.
You can bake in a loaf pan and bake 50-60minutes.
