Beat margarine with mixer for 30 seconds, add brown sugar and beat until fluffy. then add egg, pumpkin and vanilla to mixture and beat together until well blended. Stir in flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and nutmeg. Stir with s spoon until well combined. Add chocolate chips.Drop from a spoon about 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 9-11 minutes
