This is an old favorite of mine from Southern Living, except with a few twists. It is wonderful to put out as a nibble when the Fall comes.
It is very important to make sure your cream cheese is completely softened before starting this recipe. In an electric mixer, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar. Then add your whipped cream, pumpkin, cinnamon and ginger. Scrape down bowl to ensure all ingredients are mixed thoroughly. Mix 1 more minute to mix completely. Serve in a small bowl with apple slices, pear slices and/or ginger snap cookies for dipping.
This dip will stay good in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
