Prepare pie crust - prick shell. bake in hot oven (425) 15 minutes
Combine sugar, pumpkin, spice, salt. Beat cream until stiff, fold into pumpkin mixture.
Spoon ice cream into pie shell, top with pumpkin mixture.
Freeze for several hours.
