Preheat oven to 325?. Remove defrosted pie crust and place in quiche pan. Press to fit. Sprinkle meat, onion, mushrooms, and cheese in bottom of pie shell. Going a little light on the milk, combine remaining ingredients in bowl or blender and beat smooth. Pour into pie shell. Bake in for 40 to 50 min or until set. Serve warm.
1) Instead of making one big pie, mini-quiches, crustless, may be made using mini-muffin tins.
2) 6 slices of cooked bacon may be used instead of ham.
3) Using lowfat ingredients, such as lean ham, eggbeaters, lowfat cheese and cottage cheese, etc., also works well.
