Thanksgiving favorite
1. Place yams in shallow baking dish. Combine syrup from can, sugar, and butter in sauce pan , stirring to a boil till thickened.
2. Pour sauce over yams.
3. Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes, basting with sauce frequently
4. After 10-15 minutes in oven, top with marshmallows
Options:
Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg , place a few slices orange or pineapple on yams and add 3 tbsp orange or pineapple juice to liquid before basting.
