Mix dry ingredients, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cheese. Add milk & egg. Mix until just moistened. Pour in greased, floured 9x5 loaf pan. (Can put in 2 smaller pans, but cook less time). For Mexican bread - use mexican shredded cheese and 1 4 oz can, drained green chilis. Cook 45 min at 400 degrees. Cool 5 min. Remove from pan.
