In the container of a blender, combine egg yolks, mustard, 3 tablespoons lemon juice, hot sauce, salt and pepper.
Cover and blend on high speed for approximately 10 seconds.
Place butter in a microwavable measuring cup. Microwave on high until melted and hot, approximately 1 minute.
With blender running on high speed, slowly add butter in a thin stream. Mixture will thicken immediately. Add remaining 1 tablespoon lemon juice to thin sauce, if desired; serve immediately. (To keep sauce warm, hold it in the top half of a double boiler over simmering water.)
