Cookies with all kinds of stuff in them- hearty
Oven at 350.
Cream butter and sugars, add eggs and vanilla.
In separate bowl mix flour salt, baking soda and baking powder. In increments add to mixer until combined. Add oatmeal and mix again.
Stir in Rice Krispies, chopped walnut or pecan and coconut. Mix reasonably well it is now pretty thick.
This is the basic. This is where I decide what to add- cranberries are good solo in this cookie but sometimes I add white chocolate chips and do the sweet and sour cookies. Traditionally they we're make with chocolate chips & raisins added. You could also do m&ms....they are very flexible cookies.
Bake 12-15 minutes. Cool on rack store in a sealed container.
