Suggest a better descriptionSauté onion in olive oil until tender. Add garlic and sauté a few more minutes. Add kale and season with salt pepper and thyme. Add a few tbs of water to start cooking kale... Cook ~ 5 min. Add 1 1/2 cups water/ stock, bay leaf, and lentils. Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer. Cook for ~ 20-25 min until lentils fall apart.
Add a bit of extra water if lentils look dry during cooking.
