Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; blend well.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; mix into butter mixture.
Stir in peanut butter morsels.
Drop by spoonful onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-9 minutes.
Cool on cookie sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
