Sauté onions in olive oil ans salt and pepper about 3 minutes, until soft. Add garlic, jalapeño, cinnamon,
and, cloves, and cook about another minute until fragrant (don't burn the spices!).
Add the tomatoes, crushing them as they go into the pan and sauté for another minute.
Stir in the beans and water, crushing them as they cook (for about 10 minutes).
Blend in the butter and serve!
