Melt margarine in a large saucepan on low heat. Add marshmallows and cook stirring constantly until marshmallows are melted. Remove from heat. Add Rice Krispies and stir until well coated. Spread warm mixture into a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Using waxed paper or buttered spatula. Press firmly into an even layer. Cut into squares when cooled.
