Peel and finely chop the onion an the garlic. Melt the butter in a large saucepan. Add the onion and garlic and cook, stirring, until softened but bot browned. [Add ham and cook for 1 min]
Add spinach and cook for 2 - 3 mins, stirring occasionally. Add seasoning and a pinch of nutmeg.
Pour in the cream. Reduce the heat and cook, stirring constantly,until the sauce has reduced slightly.
Meanwhile, cook the tagliatelle in a large saucepan so salted boiling water, according to the packet instructions. Drain thoroughly.
Add the Parmesan cheese to the sauce and stir until well combined. Stir in the lemon juice. Add the sauce to the pasta and toss until well combined. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serve
