Great tasting cake easy to prepare
Preheat oven to 325 F. Grease and flour a 12 cup bundt pan. Sprinkle nuts over bottom of pan. In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, puddling mix, eggs, light rum, oil, and water. Using electric mixer, beat at low speed until moistened. Beat at high speed for 2 minutes. Pour batter over nuts. Bake 1 hour or until a skewer inserted inti the cake comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes, then invert onto serving plate.
Glaze:
Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in sugar, water and light rum. Boil 5 minutes, strirring constantly. Remove from heat. Prick top of the cake with a fork. Spoon and brush glaze evenly over top and sides. Allow cake to absorb glaze. Repeat until all glaze is absorbed
