Il riso alla cantonese è un classico della cucina cinese, realizzato con riso basmati e condito con piselli, uovo e prosciutto cotto. Il piatto è conosciuto anche con il nome di riso fritto o riso saltato ed è una delle ricette orientali più conosciute in Italia insieme agli involtini primavera. E' molto semplice da realizzare anche in casa, gli ingredienti sono facilmente reperibili e ha un gusto molto vicino a quello europeo, probabilmente per questo è così apprezzato qui in occidente. Dopo aver provato a realizzare varie volte questo piatto, ho trovato la ricetta perfetta, non so se sia l'originale ricetta del riso alla cantonese, ma è molto, molto simile a quello che ordino al ristorante cinese. Io lo adoro, ed è un piatto che non manca mai quando preparo le cene etniche. Provate questa ricetta e ve ne innamorerete, sicuro!
