Add all ingredients, except the half and half, to a 3 Quart crock pot. Cook on high 6 hours. Using a slotted spoon,
remove about half of the potatoes (and associated bits and pieces) with about 30 minutes left to cook. Puree
them with the half and half. Add to the crock pot for the last 30 minutes.
