Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine oil, cumin, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, black pepepr and red pepper together in small bowl. Add the chickpeas and toss to coat or use a ziploc bag. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Roast, stirring occasionally, until nicely brown. About 45 minutes.
