Great
Heat the oil in a large heavy bottomed skillet over medium heat for at least a minute until it is hot but not smoking. Add onions in a pile and let them cook undisturbed for about 3 minutes. Using tongs toss the onions seasoning with salt. Cook for about 15 minutes tossing every 3 minutes to distribute juices. Once onions have softened and reduced reduce heat to medium-low turning every 10 minutes to make sure they don't burn. Continue for 50 minutes untilonions are a silky texture and a deep caramel brown.
Can be stored for up to 10 days in air tight container.
