1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Make sure green beans are dry. Line a baking sheet with aluminum for easy clean-up.
2. Lay green beans out on a baking sheet and drizzle oil over them. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder and toss evenly to coat.
3. Spread them out of the sheet so they all lay flat and place on the lower third section of your oven.
4. Bake for 10 minutes, shake the pan to turn; bake an additional 5 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with grated cheese.
