Ronda's thumbprint cookies
Preheat oven to 350
Cream butter and sugar.
Separate egg
Add egg yolk to mixture
Stir in the rest of the ingredients.
Beat egg whites.
Shape dough into balls.
Roll balls in beaten egg whites.
Roll in chopped nuts, if desired.
Bake 5 minutes at 350
Put "thumbprint" in each ball with something.
Bake 8 - 10 minutes more.
Frosting.
Powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons milk
mix until smooth.
