Suggest a better descriptionPlace roast in roasting pan. Add ingredients. Rosemary and Marjoram should be sprinkled top of roast is covered. Add enough water to cover the roast. Cook at 275 until rare. Do not overcook as it affects the slicing. Take meat out of juice and refridgerate until cool. Slice about 1/8 in. thick. If you have a butcher nearby who will do this for you, you will get much more uniform slices. After slicing, add the meat back to the gravy. When ready to serve, cook slowly until heated through, about 1 hour. To serve, take long loaves of french bread and cut in about 4in. pieces and then slice open. Fill the bread with slices of meat and put gravy over the top.
