Layers of beef, cream corn and mashed potatoes.
Preheat Oven to 400° F.
Rinse potatoes and place in large saucepan and just cover with water and add 1 tablespoon Kosher salt. set over medium high heat bring to a boil, then down to a simmer and cook, uncovered for 15 minutes or until potato is cooked. Drain, place back into pan add butter and salt and pepper and mash, add sour cream and egg yolk and bring to a creamy consistency, set aside. In a large skillet saute onions until translucent; add ground beef and brown, add garlic powder, A-1 Sauce, crushed pepper, salt and pepper and cook until meat is done. In a buttered casserole dish add meat mixture, then add 2 cans of cream corn evenly over meat and top with mashed potatoes. Dot potatoes all over with pieces of butter. Place in oven for 30 minutes or until potatoes form a slight crust. Serve warm.
