Combine ground beef, italian sausage, and cook for a while. Add garlic, 1 T. parsley, 1 T. Basil and 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 can tomatoes and the 6 oz can tomato paste and cook gently for one hour, stirring occasionally.
24 oz. cottage cheese, 2 beaten eggs, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 2 T. parsley and 1/2 C. parmesan cheese.
Cook lasagne noodles until tender, rinse well in cold water. Grate 1 pound of mozzarella cheese.
Layer as follows: In a 9 X 13 greased pan, put half of the noodles, half the cheese mixture, half the mozzarella and half of the meat mixture. Repeat. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
