This is a potatoe dish that some bar I used to go to years ago used to serve. I've added my own couple of things to make it more to my liking. They have a soft texture...almost like mashed potatoes but not quite there yet. Great dish if you are a "meat & potatoe" kind of person!
1. clean potatoes
2. chop to desired size
3. put potatoes in pot of water and boil until semi-tender
4. drain potatoes
5. in sauce pan melt 2 tbsp butter
6. add onions and sauté
7. lower heat and add potatoes and 1 tbsp butter. Mix slowly until butter is melted
8. Add rosemary, garlic, season salt and 1 tbsp butter. Mix slowly until butter is melted
9.cook for about an additional 5 minutes
