Like fruit - especially hot over ice cream ?
Fruit must be FRESH - not canned. Clean, peel & cut each fruit separately into bite-size pieces. Cover w/ sugar & let stand overnight.
In large crock, pour prepared fruit & just cover w/ good quality rum. Let stand overnight before adding next fruit.
Between additions, cover bowl w/ aluminum foil.
When completed, cover crock tightly w/ plastic wrap & let stand till ready to serve for holidays over ice cream.
